12 mozzarella string cheese sticks, halved
1 cup fresh spinach, sautéed and chopped
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp salt
Olive oil spray (for baking or air frying)
1. Cut mozzarella sticks in half and freeze for 30 minutes.
2. Mix breadcrumbs with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
3. Dredge each cheese stick in flour, dip in egg, then coat in breadcrumb mixture.
4. Freeze breaded sticks for another 30 minutes.
5. Bake at 425°F for 10–12 minutes, air fry at 375°F for 8 minutes, or pan-fry until golden.
For best results, freeze before cooking to prevent cheese leakage.
