A warm and cozy treat perfect for fall, filled with delicious spices that remind you of autumn.

Ingredients

  • 1¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until well combined.
  3. Add in the eggs, one by one, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the pumpkin puree until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg together.
  5. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the loaf cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

Serve warm with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Can be toasted and spread with butter for added flavor.
