  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 2 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • Crushed peppermint candies for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust: In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Set aside.
  2. Make the Filling: In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and peppermint extract, mixing until well combined. Gently fold in whipped cream until fully incorporated.
  3. Assemble the Cheesecake: Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan. Spread it evenly and smooth the top.
  4. Chill: Cover the cheesecake and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or until set, preferably overnight.
  5. Serve: Once set, remove from the springform pan and garnish with crushed peppermint candies before slicing.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is fully softened to prevent lumps. Store in an airtight container for 5-7 days.
