  • 1 (4-5 lb) turkey breast, bone-in
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary or thyme, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)
  • Optional: 1 lemon, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub olive oil all over the turkey, then season it well with salt, pepper, minced garlic, and herbs.
  4. Place the turkey breast in a roasting pan, optionally adding lemon slices on top or around it.
  5. Roast in the oven for about 90 to 120 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Let it rest for 15 minutes before carving.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to ensure the turkey is cooked but not dry. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
