A delightful no-bake dessert featuring layers of fresh strawberries, whipped cream, and soft biscuit pieces, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, diced
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups store-bought sponge cake or ladyfingers
  • Additional strawberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice the fresh strawberries and set them aside in a bowl.
  2. Add heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to a mixing bowl.
  3. Whip the cream mixture using a hand mixer until it forms soft peaks.
  4. Place a layer of sponge cake pieces in serving cups.
  5. Add a layer of whipped cream, followed by a layer of diced strawberries.
  6. Repeat the layers until the cups are full, finishing with whipped cream and some whole strawberries on top.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Chilling the trifle cups helps the flavors meld beautifully. Use clear glasses or cups to show off the lovely layers. Prepare them a few hours in advance for easier serving.
