  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until blended.
  4. Add chocolate chips and peppermint extract, mixing well.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
