Juicy grilled shrimp skewers marinated in garlic, lemon, and spices for a quick, delicious meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

  1. Combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes.
  3. Soak wooden skewers in water to prevent burning.
  4. Thread the marinated shrimp onto the skewers, leaving space between each piece.
  5. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  6. Grill the skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  7. Remove from the grill, let cool slightly, and serve with lemon wedges for squeezing over the top.

Notes

Don’t over-marinate the shrimp as the acid from the lemon juice can make them tough.
