A delightful side dish of grilled corn topped with creamy Parmesan garlic butter, perfect for summer barbecues.

Ingredients

  • Fresh corn on the cob (4 ears)
  • Unsalted butter (1/2 cup, melted)
  • Minced garlic (2 tablespoons)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (1/2 cup)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Chopped parsley (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Start by preheating your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Husk the corn and remove all the silk from the cob, then rinse in cold water.
  3. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over each ear of corn.
  5. Place the corn directly on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the kernels are tender and slightly charred.
  6. Remove the corn from the grill and immediately sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

For a spicy twist, add chili powder or crushed red pepper flakes to the garlic butter. Soaking the corn in water for 30 minutes before grilling helps keep it juicy.
