  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 4 burger buns
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil, for cooking

Instructions

  1. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onions and bell peppers to the skillet. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute, stirring frequently.
  4. Add the ground beef, cooking until it’s browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Mix in Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, salt, and pepper.
  6. Let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes until it thickens. Stir occasionally.
  7. Top each serving with shredded provolone cheese. Allow it to melt before serving on warmed burger buns.
