A delightful treat combining warm spices and sweet apples, perfect for breakfast or as a dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 apples, peeled and diced
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 1/4 cup butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, then add milk and vanilla. Stir to combine.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mix and fold in the diced apples gently until combined.
  5. Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
  8. Prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar with a little milk until smooth. Drizzle it over the bread once it’s cool.

Notes

For a dietary-friendly version, use gluten-free flour or almond milk. The glaze can be adjusted for sweetness based on preference.
