Delicious and easy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers, perfect for any occasion, packed with flavor from garlic and Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, grated Parmesan, Greek yogurt, olive oil, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir well to mix all the ingredients.
  2. Toss in the cubed chicken pieces, ensuring each piece is well-coated with the marinade. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors soak in.
  3. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 15-20 minutes to prevent them from burning on the grill.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers, making sure to leave a little space between each piece for even cooking.
  6. Grill the skewers for 10-15 minutes, turning them occasionally until they are golden brown and cooked all the way through.
  7. Let the skewers rest for a minute after grilling, then serve them hot with extra parsley on top for garnish.

Notes

For extra zest, squeeze some lemon juice over the cooked skewers before serving. You can also add vegetables like bell peppers or onions for added color and taste.
