Garlic Herb Shrimp Skillet

A quick and elegant meal featuring shrimp sautéed in garlic and butter, brightened with fresh lemon and parsley.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled & deveined)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Juice of 1 lemon (+ extra wedges for garnish)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat shrimp dry & season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, & Italian seasoning.
  2. In a cast-iron skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic & red pepper flakes and cook until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  3. Add shrimp in a single layer & cook for 1-2 minutes per side until pink & opaque. Squeeze in fresh lemon juice and toss everything together.
  4. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Make sure shrimp are fully thawed for even cooking. Avoid overcrowding the skillet and use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
