  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  2. Mash the bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. Melt the butter and mix it with sugar in another bowl.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture and combine well.
  5. Stir the mashed bananas into the wet ingredients.
  6. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.
  8. Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners and bake for 18-22 minutes.
  9. Cool the cupcakes completely before frosting them.

Notes

For best results, use ripe bananas. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
