A comforting Italian dish featuring tender chicken, rich creamy sauce, and perfectly cooked fettuccine.

  • 8 oz Fettuccine pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Start by cooking the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. While the pasta cooks, season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and let rest before slicing.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium-low heat. Pour in the heavy cream, and let it simmer gently.
  5. Stir in the grated Parmesan until melted and the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly. Slice the chicken and place it on top of the pasta.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, serve warm, and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, avoid overcooking the chicken to maintain its juiciness. Add pasta water to the sauce if it thickens too much.
