A creamy, cheesy casserole combining tender chicken, pasta, and rich Alfredo sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the cooked pasta and diced chicken in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Pour the Alfredo sauce over the pasta and chicken, mixing until well combined.
  4. Stir in half of the mozzarella cheese and half of the Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, then cover with aluminum foil.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes, remove the foil, and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden and bubbly. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

To avoid overcooking, don’t cook the pasta fully before baking. Add a splash of milk when reheating to maintain the creamy texture.
