  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually blend the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, giving them space to spread.
  8. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before moving to a wire rack.
