BBQ Chicken Sliders are tender, juicy sandwiches smothered in barbecue sauce, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 cup coleslaw (optional, for topping)
  • Pickles (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the chicken in a large pan over medium heat until it is no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes on each side.
  3. Remove the chicken from the pan and shred it using two forks.
  4. Return the shredded chicken to the pan and mix in the barbecue sauce, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Slice the slider buns in half and fill each bun with a generous amount of the BBQ chicken mixture.
  6. Place the assembled sliders on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes until the buns are slightly toasted.
  7. Serve the sliders warm with optional toppings like coleslaw and pickles.
